Until a truly worthy FinPig sponsor purchase of the real thing (quite expensive, at least 200$ a bottle), I am using a highly prized imitation / impression version of Shalimar. However, it is *lovely* and I think I like it better. Fragrance notes include: Bergamot, Lemon, Iris, Jasmine, Rose, Patchouli, Vetiver, Opopanax, Tonka Bean, Franincense, Sandalwood, Musk, Civet, Ambergris, Leather, and Vanilla. Cla**ified as an "Oriental" perfume by the experts, desp*te how problematic that term may be. Used by Flappers in the 1920s in the US, so it's got a "bad girl" image ;) I learned about it as a kid, while watching the 80s movie, "See No Evil, Hear No Evil," with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. It reacts with my personal chemistry in exquisite fashion, and is a perfect match! But don't take my word for it. ;) Come close. Take a sniff, Let me know what you think. ;) xx
